Privacy Policy
Effective date: 14 August 2026
FutureCentral (“we”, “us”) is operated by Austin PM, trading as FutureCentral, in India. This policy explains what personal data we collect on futurecentral.in, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We’ve written it to be read, and it applies to this website only; the blogs in our network are separate sites with their own policies.
What we collect
Account data. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form; we cannot read them.
Newsletter data. When you subscribe to our Briefs, we collect your email address and the topics you pick. That’s all a subscription needs, so that’s all we ask for.
Learning activity. If you enroll in a course, we record your enrollment, progress, and quiz or assignment results, so the course can work and you can pick up where you left off.
Payment data. When paid courses launch, payments will be processed by a licensed payment gateway. Your card or Unified Payments Interface (UPI) details go to the gateway, never to our servers. We receive only a confirmation and a transaction reference.
Technical data. Like most websites, we receive standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and use cookies for signed-in sessions and basic analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; signed-in features may stop working, the rest of the site will not.
How we use it
We use your data to run your account, deliver the newsletters you chose, operate courses you enroll in, keep the site secure, and understand which content is useful. We process personal data with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Two commitments worth stating plainly: we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that works with one click.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the site: hosting, the email platform that delivers newsletters, payment gateways for transactions, and analytics. Each receives only what its job requires and may process it only for us. Beyond that, we disclose personal data only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account and learning data: while your account is active, and up to [12] months after you delete it or ask us to. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Transaction records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to erase it, nominate a person to exercise your rights if you are unable to, and raise a grievance about how we’ve handled any of this.
Write to hello@futurecentral.in for any of these. We respond within [30] days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
FutureCentral is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has created an account, write to us and we’ll remove it.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to the blogs in our network and to external stores and platforms. Once you leave futurecentral.in, this policy no longer applies; check the policy of the site you land on.
Changes
When this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell subscribers by email. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
